Summer Self-defense Scholarship Application

Our core mission at Pivot Athletic Development is to help break down the barriers that youth experience when trying to participate in sports, play, or other healthy activities. We are excited to have found these amazing programs at Gracie Jiu-jitsu Indio that are applicable to virtually everyone.

We were pleased to offer scholarships to the first 7 qualifying candidates for 60 days of unlimited training (per the school's available schedule). Scholarships were awarded to the first 7 qualified candidates and are valued at $280 each. Scholarship money was distributed directly to the school on the awarded applicant's behalf. If you apply and were not granted a scholarship, the school is also offering 10-days of free unlimited training to every 1st-time student. Call the school for more details.

Qualified Candidate Requirements

• Age 5-18
• Full-time resident of the Coachella Valley
• Meet the age requirements of the classes available
• Provide their own transportation to and from classes.
• Can commit to a minimum of 1 class per week.
• All candidates 5-17 must apply with parental or guardian consent.
• Scholarships must be used within 30 days of acceptance. 60 days are consecutive.
